I’ve been having a lot of fun with my Lego this Valentines. I had a couple of Brickheadz to build along with a little romantic picnic set which I picked up on eBay for a few pounds last summer. I really enjoyed building these sets and taking pictures of them to put on my Instagram feed.
The Valentines Puppy was a lovely little set to build and gives a really nice finished product. He holds a heart and a rose with more flowers on his little scene. His ears are hinged so you can adjust the angle to suit your preference. I think its a really nice set, and I’m glad my wife got it for me for our anniversary last year.
The Valentines Bee is probably one of my favourite seasonal Brickheadz that I have built so far. I’m probably a bit biased as I am a huge fan of bees, as they produce honey which is flipping delicious. It was a nice build and you can choose between sunflowers or roses for the scenery. Which do you prefer?
The Romantic Valentine Picnic is a fantastic little set, that I picked up on eBay last summer. You get two minifigures, guess it wouldn’t be very romantic with just one, the girl has two different face prints too. Then there’s a picnic blanket, teddy bear, selection of cakes, pineapple, bottle of wine with two glasses, and a little table with some sandwiches. To add to this there is a love letter and a bar of chocolate, a balloon and a romantic water fountain. As if that wasn’t enough there is additional scenery in the form of flowers and a tree with a bird box and a little bird sitting in the tree.
Can’t believe how many little details they have managed to squeeze into a set with a piece count of just 126! Amazing!
What do you think of these sets? Which is your favourite? Let me know in the comments.
